TAMU Robomasters is Texas A&M’s premier robotics organization. The team comprises over 140 members and competes annually in the international Robomasters competition. For two years, I led a hardware team comprising fifteen members in designing, developing, and manufacturing two separate robotic platforms. The Aerial Robot is a ~25 lbs UAV that carries and fires several hundred 17mm projectiles while airborne for several minutes. The Dart Robot is a manoeuvrable launcher that fires gliding “darts” to hit small targets ~90 ft away.
